The ICTCIP-2009 will be co-organized by the Energy and Thermal Systems Laboratory (LESTE) and the Research and Technology Center of Energy (CRTen). The objective of the conference is to provide a forum for academic and industrial researchers to meet and exchange valuable experiences in the field of thermophysical properties of a wide variety of systems. In addition, this conference aims to advance and consolidate cooperation between different research teams and promote new technologies in energy and materials engineering.
The conference will include invited lectures, oral presentations and poster sessions. An exhibition of scientific equipments will be held during the conference.
The official languages of the conference are French and English.

Organizing Committee

The conference will cover traditional areas of thermophysics, i.e. measurement, theory, modeling and applications in technology of solids and fluids.

1. Thermo-physical properties of materials:

• Solids, liquids and Gases.
• Composites, porous structures, layered structures

2. Methods for Thermo-physical characterisation:

• Equipments : property measuring techniques and devices/instruments with special focus on thermal conductivity/diffusivity sensors and methodology of data acquisition.
• Identification procedures.

3. Inverse Problems in Engineering (theory and modeling) :

• Parameter estimation
• Function estimation
• Optimal Design
• Combined mechanism of heat transport (radiation, conduction, convection)
